Using MASH Placer in PyMel

Hi everyone!

Recently I have gotten into scripting and wanted to create a scatter script for maya using PyMel.
I have managed to get all the functionality using MASH, so now I thought it would be nice to add an option to also use the placer node and ‘‘live’’ place extra meshes.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Unfortunately I am not sure how to activate the ‘‘add’’ or ‘‘delete’’ mode. I have a network, I can select it and add a placer node, I am just not sure how to get the code to activate any of the brushes.
