dotNet/Mxs--Biped copy pose thumbnails

Hi,

I am currently writing a long tool that involves taking most of the Biped functionality and placing it into a floating UI that has a lot of custom controls and functions that relate specifically to the project being worked on by “my” animators.

I am currently working on a new more user friendly version of the copy pose functionality and I have a question about where Biped stores the thumbnails for the poses?
It would help a load if I could use the inbuilt functionality rather than using my own thumbnail method(which I have waiting in the wings) But why re-invent the wheel if you don’t have to?

So I would be super grateful if someone could point me to the directory or a way to access the thumbnails via maxscript/dotNet/C++ etc.

I am working predominantly in dotNet and maxscript.
Max version is 2010 but will be moving on to 2012 in the near future.

Much thanks.

Munky.

I always thought the thumbnails were embedded in the .max scenes. At least the file size keeps on growing if you keep copying poses inside the biped…

That is what I was afraid of :frowning:
