IK/FK Blend on the movement controllers

Hey everyone! This is my first ever topic, I looked through other discussions to see if I could find an answer to this, but I couldn’t. I’ve got a quadruped rig for which I’ve created the legs with a 3 joint chain setup. Initially I had an options panel that included the IK/FK switches for each leg away from the body of the quadruped. I did this in order to avoid confusion with smaller switches following each individual leg. Then I thought that an animator might not want to be looking for a panel in the middle of animating if they have to make a switch.

My instructor asked me to add the switches as attributes on both the IK and FK controllers, rather than as separate switch controllers. Is there a way to have several attributes plugged into my setup and also have them update as each other changes? Or maybe a different solution that keeps the blend working the same but isn’t too visually loaded?
