Rigging in bifrost

Hello-

I’ve started to find mgear pretty stiff, because even with post run scripts and custom components, I’m not the biggest fan of its framework. I’m interested in the procedural part of bifrost, but am worried my animators may have to wrestle with the parts I think are productive as a rigger, as well as it not being totally compatible with simple FBX and smooth skin deformer exports.

Has anyone used bifrost for game dev rigging?

Thanks!

(This is in my off time, so itll be a slower process before it’s ready to be deployed (if even))

Maybe you havnt seen it. But there are some new vids out there.

And if you need help the devs are on the Bifrost Discord.

yeah, I saw that, thanks for the link! Seems interesting and gives access to a way to quickly produce locomotion sets so animators can focus on the more creative stuff. Could be a replacement for a $12k mocap suit and cut out cleanup.
