We are currently looking for a permanent full-time Pipeline Supervisor to join our team.
The Pipeline Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, developing, and enhancing our pipeline.

RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY DUTIES:
Work closely with the entire production team and head of IT to ensure that the pipeline meets the needs of the company as a whole.
Manage, prioritize, review, and resolve tickets related to pipeline issues and needs.
Drive the design, implementation, and evolution of the pipeline.
Perform ad-hoc research and development for show specific and studio-wide tools.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving any problems with farm management.
Ensure the unimpeded flow of data throughout the pipeline.
REQUIREMENTS:

Able to work well under stressful situations and with minimal supervision;
Able to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical personnel;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Consistently produces a high quality of work in deadline-oriented environments;
5+ years of experience in a VFX/animation pipeline role or related role;
Expert knowledge of Python;
Expert knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/Postgres);
Expert knowledge in DCC software scripting and plugin development (Maya/Houdini/Nuke);
Experience with building C/C++ libraries, tools, and plugins from scratch;
A deep understanding of Linux, OS X, user environments, and shell scripting;
A deep understanding of MVC patterns for UI development;
Maintain relationships with software vendors;
Experience with ORMs (SQLAlchemy);
Experience with license server management (rlm, flexlm);
Experience with render managers and distributive computing environments;
Experience with the Shotgun API;
Experience with open source tools (OCIO, OIIO, Alembic, USD, VFX reference platform);
Experience with rez is a plus;
Experience with static analysis tools is a plus;
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field;
A constant drive to learn and improve yourself as well as the pipeline.
