10:00 - 11:00am Distance Fields and Shader Simulation Tricks by Ryan Brucks
Continuing the tradition of a shader-heavy talk, we’ve got a real heavy hitter to give you the skills you need to develop incredible new visual features with this exciting technology!

11:20 - 12:20pm Real-Time Cloth Solutions on Marvel’s Spider-Man by Sophie Brennan
Then we’ll learn all about the work that went into the amazing real-time cloth in 2018’s smash hit Spider-man!

1:20 - 2:20pm Gotta Go Fast - Shader Optimization for Tech Artists by Garrett Stevens
Of course we’ll need to optimize all those beautiful effects, and Garrett’s gonna walk us through the whats and hows of shader and GPU optimization!

2:40 - 3:40pm Cementing Your Duct Tape: Turning Hacks into Tools by Mattias Van Camp
Down the line we all say to ourselves “I’ll fix that later!” or “Lemme do this real quick thing just once”, and Mattias wants us to know that’s okay. As long as we have a plan to turn our duct tape into something strong.

4:00 - 5:00pm Understanding Constraints: A Framework for Tech Art Decision Making by Alexander Zotikov
Tech Art at Scale: Supporting 2,000 Users by Luiz Kruel
Alex Z is gonna help us understand our constraints and how we can leverage them to our advantage, and Luiz gets to talk about how SideFX has been able to develop and deploy tools to over 2000 users!

5:30 - 6:30pm The Dual Power of Metanodes in Maya by Andrew Christopherson
And finally we wrap things up with a great tutorial on how we can use metanodes in Maya to really take control of the data in our games.
