[QUESTION] Rigging Character With Broad Shoulders


Hello everyone, I have watched Aaron Holly’s Rigging DVD’s and tried to rig a character as he approaches but could not make it work the way I wanted. What would be the most efficient approach?


Cool looking character! I’m sure you’ll have a blast rigging him. Depending on what approach you are more comfortable with but you could do is either go for corrective blendshapes or you can use a joint based approach to help keep that volume. Either way, he’s a biped character, so the setup is more or less the same as most.
