Pipeline Infrastructure Engineer - Blur Studio

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Infrastructure Pipeline Engineer to collaborate on a number of Pipeline initiatives for many exciting projects. This is a full-time position focused on integrating new custom tools and third-party applications into the existing pipeline, and promoting software development best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate internal tools with 3rd party applications

  • Collaborate with the Systems Department to manage tool deployment to Windows and Unix systems

  • Develop and support workflows for working remotely and onsite

  • Produce clean and reusable code including documentation and testing

  • Maintain and improve existing codebase

  • Work with our artists and the Pipeline Supervisor to determine needs and priorities

Requirements:

  • Python programming skills are a must (Python 3x preferred)

  • Good understanding of computer animation pipeline

  • Experience developing tools and/or plugins for at least one content creation development software (Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal preferred)

  • Experience with code management and versioning (Git or Perforce)

  • Some experience with PyQt/PySide
