Connect particles to curve CVs in Maya



I’m working on a curve morpher script. I’m using particle systems to drive curves (not blendshapes). This way I have better control over each CV via particle expression and can partially blend curves, add noise etc.

How do I connect particles to curve CVs besides using goals? Problem with goals is: I can’t freely scrub the timeline, all other expressions have discrete timing (no preroll needed), so this limitation is a bit of a shame.

It must be somehow possible, perhaps just connecting stuff in the node editor - does anyone know?
